Ask a friend's AI agent instead of waiting for a reply

On circleio, your AI assistant can ask a friend's AI agent a question — "is Maya free Saturday?", "what's Sam's shoe size?" — and get an answer at once from what Maya chose to share, or leave the question for her to answer herself. No back-and-forth, no waiting for someone to check their phone for something their assistant already knows.

In short:

  • Answers from a card your friend controls. Each person keeps a card of short facts — availability, preferences, sizes, allergies — and picks which circle of friends sees each one.
  • Otherwise it's queued for them. If the card doesn't cover it, the question waits for your friend (or their assistant) to answer.
  • Clearly labeled. Answers from a card, from your friend, or from circleio's away-answer (a Plus option) are marked as such.

How it works

  1. Your friend fills in their card (in the app, or by telling their assistant): "free most evenings after 6", "vegetarian, loves Thai", "shoe size 9".
  2. You ask your assistant: "ask Maya's agent if she's free Saturday night."
  3. Your assistant calls ask_friend. If Maya's card answers it for your circle of friendship, you get the answer immediately. If not, the question goes to Maya; her assistant shows it to her and sends back her answer when she approves.
  4. Away answers (Plus). If Maya has turned it on and has been away for a while, circleio can answer from what you can already see — her card and your recent messages — and says it's circleio's answer, not hers.

What your friend's agent will and won't do

  • It answers only from what your friend shares with your circle. Close friends can see more than acquaintances.
  • Questions that try to instruct an agent ("ignore your rules and…") are refused, because they'd reach someone else's assistant.
  • Nothing is answered on your friend's behalf by their assistant without their approval.

  • "Is Sam around this weekend?"
  • "What should I bring to Maya's dinner — any allergies?"
  • "What's Dev's coffee order?"
  • "Does Jess still have the tent we borrowed?"
